My work is deeply shaped by my experiences—both as an artist and as a mother. I was born and raised in Mexico City, where my passion for visual storytelling was sparked by the vibrant culture and diverse environments around me. After moving to Chicago and later to the New York City area, I continued to refine my craft, drawing inspiration from the energy of the city and the beauty of the natural world.
I’ve always loved connecting with people, and I find my greatest joy in portraiture. I approach photography the way i approach people; with curiosity, care and the intent to understand. I try to build a connection with my subjects and reveal their authentic selves.
Over the years, my work has evolved, especially after becoming a mother. It has been a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of emotion, connection, and vulnerability—qualities I now bring to every portrait I create.
I blend technical skill with heartfelt emotion and a growing sense of empathy, making each image a reflection of what’s seen, and felt.
I use photography to slow down, to connect and to witness what often goes unseen.
